Pros & Cons for 18% GST on Project Management Consultancy

Image
The 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST) is applicable to project management consultancy services in India. GST is a consumption-based tax that is levied on the value of goods and services at every stage of the supply chain, from production to consumption. GST replaces multiple indirect taxes that were previously imposed on goods and services in India. However, there are also some disadvantages associated with the 18% GST rate on project management consultancy services. One of the main drawbacks is that it increases the cost of these services for businesses and consumers. This can make it more difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to access project management consultancy services, which can negatively impact their ability to grow and compete in the market.
